Charger temperature

Is your charger also this hot? 64,8°C
It's original and came with my MA2.

Don't have a MA2 but my MP2 charger sits at 38.3 ºC
Just tested it now when it’s charging the 2nd battery.

I charge mine while it’s sitting on a granite slate and the top of it measures 42.2 °C.

they do get hot and dont forget there is no fan to aid cooling ,when i charge my batteries i like to have a small fan blowing over both the charger and the battery ,even my multi charger gets hot and it has a built in fan as well the heat is a by product of the transformer stepping down the voltage from the mains supply
