Ok I guess I don't know as much about the charging hub as I thought.

Can someone tell me how the charging hub is supposed to work related to maintaining batteries over an extended period of time and how that related to the discharge that you set? I know it is supposed to discharge but doesn't it charge them back up?

In any case, I've had my 4 batteries on the hub for about 2 weeks without using them. Three of the batteries are blinking one light, and one is 100%. Tried installing firmware with one of them blinking one light and system says it won't because I need to have 50% battery.

Isn't one blinking light 75% and why are three in partial discharge and only one 100%?

The DJI charging hub is only able to charge batteries.

The batteries will start auto discharging down to the storage level after 10 days (or the setting you set in DJI GO). It can take up to 2-3 additional days for that discharge process to complete. If you press the battery button at any time during that process, the battery will stop discharging and wait another 10 days to start discharging again.

Here's the setting in DJI GO that determines when the battery starts auto discharging:

If you want to use a setting other than 10 days, you'll need to change it while each battery is installed in your Mavic (since the setting is stored on the battery). Also, you'll need to reset this setting after installing new firmware on your batteries.

Ok, thanks for that info. I know I have 5 days as the discharge time. So I guess the discharge level is around 75%. But I'm not sure why one was at 100% after a couple weeks

It should discharge the batteries down to at least 65%.

Did you press the battery button during that time?

I might have. I know now that it depletes them down to 65% based on the time set in the settings and doesn't charge them back up unless I push the button. I must have pushed the button (or my 19 month old-she likes to push buttons) So I'm good. Thanks for all the comments.

Yeah don't leave them connected to the charger, my guess is if you do that as soon as they discharge they'll recharge again and you'll and up storing them fully charged for extended periods which will kill them fast.

The discharge circuitry is in the battery itself not in the charging hub. Ideally, if you know they're being stored and not used for more than a few days just don't fully charge them at all - give them about 20-25 minutes each on the charger to get them to about 60% then take them off.
