I have no option in dji go 4 settings to set my mavic 2 controller to charge my phone. I am using a Samsung s9 with USB c connections. Is this feature only supported for apple? Anyone else have this problem or know a workaround?

Thanks.

Are you saying you want to charge your phone from the controller? Most people do NOT want the controller to charge their Android phones but apparently unless the Android device can be rooted, it defaults to charging Android devices.

Android version of the app doesn't have the option. Charging is always on. That's probably because some devices won't turn on the USB if there's no power going to it.

I do want to charge from the controller. It does not seem like it charges by default. Maybe it makes the battery drain slower but it definitely doesn't add percentage. Is this the way it is? Or is there a way to get it to actually "charge"?

Thanks.

RC can only put out the USB standard of 500mA. That's too low for most devices today. My phone and tablet warns me of "slow charging".
So yes, your net would be losing charge on your device since you're consuming more than you're providing.
