I lived in Bremerton in the late 40's when I was young. Those were the days of the Kalakala and the Illahee. I Love the Ferry's and was lucky enough to get a chance to ride from Seattle to Bremerton and return a couple of years ago.

I've heard stories about Bremerton in the 40s. Must have been incredible to see those two iconic ferries.
