Choice of displays

I am wondering where all the settings are stored on the DJI app as I am toying around with using my phone instead of a tablet (It seemed a good idea nice big screen etc) but with a Skyreat tablet holder in place it seems a bit to big and cumbersome. The tablet has been set up and linked with the Mavic........could I set my phone up the same way and if so, I take it that some, or all of the app settings will have to be updated depending which display I use?

Most of the settings are stored on your Mavic.

I hate flying with a phone, even the iPhone 6 is too small to make out good detail for real work. That being said it is nice not having to haul an iPad Air2 around...
