Cinder Cone and Sierra Crest

had a beautiful day today on the eastside. been planning to shoot these cinder cones for awhile and finally did it this morning.

Ive been meaning to shoot in Bishop next time I am passing through!

Great shot ! The contrast between the snow covered mountains and the deep reddish brown earth of the cinder cone is awesome!

Its as if the bottom of the mountain range is airbrushed .

Thanks! You should tthe southern sierra with all the snow is awesome right now. Funny you mentioned the air brushed lookof the snow line. I thought it looked like that too.
