I used the landing and leg lights on the Mavic Air 2 and a long exposure on my Osmo Action camera, set on a tripod on the ground.

The hardest part for me with the Air 2 was getting a halo manually, as the quick shot functions just won't work in the dark.

There are lots of 'light painting' videos on YouTube - I watched a few and thought I'd have a go last night as it was a beautifully clear sky. Had fun with the results, so I'll keep trying

Not bad for a first try. the tricky part wo be flying the drone in the dark withou crashing on to any branches or objects, I guess.
