Class Action for Bad Batteries?

I messed up on my older laptops.
My older Dell went great for several years because I used it.
Eventually the battery did quit holding a charge. In that case it was for old age, but partly because of less use.
Bought a new battery pack, but also a new laptop so this one sat idle for months.
Guess what? Won't hold a charge. I blame myself for that.

I don't use the newer one as much as I used to so I have to remember to charge it and fire it up every so often.

There is one possible problem in this particular case other than the batteries themselves self-discharging to a useless level:
The battery electronics are set to go into hibernation after a month or so of non-use. Plugging into the charger is supposed to wake it up but perhaps the wake up isn't working?

I’ll take that bet

I'll order 6 of those and do it to my 6 batteries..... however I think I would win the bet if I get full voltage from my unresponsive battery on my meter. I'll pull it apart tomorrow and test it and post a pic of the results

I would figure the "Problem Solved Battery Phantom 4" video would give everyone something to think about. That one little chip is responsible for the deaths of alot of the batteries. It's probably used in most models. And with all the r&d dji does, I am 100% sure they know. So.......why is it still an issue?
