Clear defaults

Can you guys please clarify.
If I install Litchi on my mobile device which already has Go4 installed, I understand that before connecting to Litchi I must first go to 'settings-apps- DJI Go4-clear defaults'.
Will this action affect any of my settings within the Go4 app or will it simply stop Go4 from booting and interfering with Litchi? I'm doubting it will have any bearing on the internal app settings but I just want to make sure.

It won't do a thing to the DJI app.
It will remove the Go app as the default app that starts up automatically when the controller is connected so you get a choice of which app to use.

On the iPad at least, it is recommended that you shut down completely either Litchi or Go, whichever you are not using. Changing the default does not stop the other app if it is running.
