Took pictures with my Mavic 2 Zoom off of the Memorial Causeway that leads to Clearwater Beach. First time in my 55 years of living in this area that I have seen Clearwater Beach closed and not due to a hurricane.

I was going to go fly in Clearwater today but decided not to based upon the rules of Pinellas County and the beach restrictions currently in place. Looks like you found a good place to take-off and land!
I did there is a parking lot on the south side of the Memorial Causeway near the bridge and it's free to park there.
Yes it is a city park but I was in the vacant shopping center parking lot that is right next to the park. I know you can't launch or land in city, county or state parks. But if you want a cool place to fly you can fly from the Sunshine Skyway Bridge fishing piers. I called last year to find that out and they said yes you just buy a sight seeing ticket to fly from those fishing piers.
