Excellent work - enjoyed that ! Presumably that is 'night mode' filming ? Great job with the framing / panning and following it all down the river ! Any reason you didn't 4K it ?

I found that after Google gets finished compressing the life out of it that there's little difference in quality on you tube between 1080 and 4k .

This has got to be the definitive way to cover a firework display. It should be a sticky as to how it is done audio and video wise. The background of the flood lit houses will not always be available of course but otherwise 10 out of 10 absolutely. I visited Cork which is of course where the Titanic sailed from a fascinating place. Well done.

Oh that's a shame - I would have thought it would work the other way round - if you force youtube to work with more information, it SHOULD up its game a bit and compress less overall right !! Perhaps that doesn't apply for night shots so much...
