Compass error and Feedback Issues

Today I went to fly over and around Bald River Falls and when I would get close to the falls I'd get Compass Error and the entire flight my video feed was horrible. I so I didn't get much video because I wasn't comfortable flying like that. When I'd come back to land the error would go away

Anytime that has happened to me I had to re calibrate the compass (at the site and away from any metal). It's rare and I just look at the IMU/Compass stats. Not sure why the crappy video feed. Have you tried it at a similar distance in a different spot? Did it show any other warnings on the display?

Have flown at simular distance with no issues I was trying a new Samsung Tablet instead of my S8 Galaxy Active. Next time I go back I'll try the phone

Well I'm still new to the Mavic so take my views like a grain of salt. Also I'm and all my buddies I fly with use Crystal Sky monitors. Figured one of the more experienced members would chime in.
