compass in display

just had my second proper flight and I noticed in the display bottom left, the drone blue arrow was always pointing in the correct direction but the small blue pointer at Home point was pointing backwards even though I know the controller was pointing directly at the mini 2
how to correct this

Sounds like your referring to App Fly version 1.2.4, which was the last for Android, it may depend on whether your AC firmware is up-to-date, there are other threads discussing his, search for compass or other terms, like Fly and compass and see if you come up with a thread that perhaps mentions it.. Course it has zero impact on your flying unless you really depend on that for some reason?

FWIW...I had the same problem with version 1.2.2. For me, it seems to be corrected in 1.2.4.

yes app fly 1.2.4, and my AC firmware is also up to date, have been reading a lot of threads about the compass error, still not got a real reason, lots of suggestions though.
I don't depend on the compass for flying but it comes in handy when you take your eyes off the drone for a second to look at info on the tablet, look back nowhere to be seen, saying that on the map view I can always know where it is if I'm flying in an area I know

after a bit of checking about my samsung tab A (no compass) I now realise that the small blue pointer showing the direction of the AC will not work but all the drone flying I've done in the past 10 years I've never used it so as while in the air the drone is showing the direct route back if I need to I can use that to bring it back if I happen to lose sight of the AC
