I have a mavic 3pro and want to put a xinfrared t2 pro thermal camera on it.

The idea is to attatch it to a small gimbal abd the the gimbal to the drone.
The camera will be connected with a cable to a phone that screen records everythning over 4g network.

So the only problem i have is what gimbal to use and if I can connect it to my dji rc controller?

I have 2 different controllers, one that comes from the dji mini 3 and then the one that came with the mavic 3pro.
Maybee i could use one of them to controll the thermal camera and the other one to steer the drone?
Maybee just use 2 different frequnezys, 2.4 and 5.8?

MAN ! Talk about a project! LOL
First of all sure it could be Done............Or you could Purchase an Inspire.
Honestly the Mavic pro isnt much of a cine lifter and to do this would make one expensive Bad flying Mavic In my opinion and I dont see a way to do it with your existing controllers or any other DJI equipment...
What is your Budget for this?

No John 33...with drone, it is not so, it is clearly seen that you have at least one other big problem!
And then the related third problem is that you do not see the second one... so you are the holder of no less than three problems.
Congratulations!

My problem is that I fail to see a problem, bearing in mind that my only handicap in golf is a bag of clubs.

I once built a thermal rig with SkyDroid C12 camera + 4G TpLink travel router, flying on the back of Mavic 3, using tiny USB power bank as power source, and cheap walmart samsung android phone, as ground controller. Gimbal was mounted upside down.

Latency was noticable, but bearable. motors and arms were getting in the way, so had to fly sideways, to get best views.

I am currently working on power source encloseure for MultiSpectral and thermal on M3. I use the Sequioa MS and may want to look at that xinfrared camera. Any suggestions would be appreciated. The Sequioa is the lightest MS I have found. Adding a gimbal is way to much for Mavic 3 that needs Matrice Series
