Connecting Mavic Air and RC

My RC and Mavic Air connect (Green flashing on Mavic) then they disconnect (Green/ Red flashing) . I am using an iPad 2 Mini for a monitor.
What should I do different to keep connected?

Air remote doesn't have a display, does it?
Although I am looking at an M2 manual, RC connection loss is quickly blinking yellow. I can't find what alternating red-green means.

That blink pattern isn't listed in the manual. Red Green Yellow is the self test at startup...Red Yellow is a compass calibration.

Manual what manual mine came with a bunch of small booklets most in foreign languages. I see the Owner's manual on the web and will print it out. TX!
