Connecting Samsung s9+ to dji controller

Hello dear Forum,

I just recieved my DJI mavic air 2 and considered that i couldnt connect it to my samsung s9+, at least not with the cable that is in the controller.
Do i have to take it our of the controller and put some other cable in it or do i have to connect from the bottom side usb-c onto my phone?

Do i need to put this in the controller ? https://amzn.to/36tNMYq , and then simply taking my charging cable and connect both?

I hope you guys understand what i want to explain here

If your phone is usb c then there is a usb c connector for the controller to the bottom of your mobile it fits in where you normally charge your phone

By default, DJI ships with the Apple lightning cable already in the top controller port, but if you check the accessories the drone came with, you will find a short USB-C cable that you can swap that with, for use with your Android. You don't need to use any 3rd party cables to connect with your S9+.

The bottom port is just for charging the controller itself.
