connecting to thecontroller

I am trying to get my new Mavic pro to connect with the controller without success. It links fine but does not connect to the aircraft. The drone starts up but no lights. Also, the lower left corner of the app indicates it is connected but when I select "go fly" the screen shows the aircraft is disconnected.
Customer support is non existent, very disappointing

Refresh the firmware of both the AC and RC using DJI Assistant 2 on a PC

Then do the re-linking of the RC to AC again

Also try a different USB cable using the usb port on the bottom of the controller.
