You might try what Tribar said above. In the past when I used regular controllers, I found that sub par cables caused that problem. Get a good quality cable and try it.That's what I'm suspecting as well. May just switch over to the original remote for the time being. The range has always been less than stellar since switching to the Smart Controller, had far better results with the original. But it sure is convenient.
