Just want to say that the update work perfectly and I was actually able to take off in a Blue Zone everything seems perfect after satellites locked. Has anybody figured out a way besides rooting the phone or charging the phone to full capacity do not have the mavic mini controller start charging the phone on a Galaxy S10 Plus

It may work for you if you have the following in your Android Settings:
Open - Settings / System / Developer Options ... Then in the 'Debugging' section, find 'Always prompt when connecting to USB' ... With this parameter switched on, you will get a 3-option pop-up window that allows you to choose data transfer only when the controller plugs into the phone.
