Controller/drone delay

I’m having trouble with delayed response from my Mavic 2 Zoom and controller. There is often a 5 - 10 second (sometimes longer) delay from the time I push the button to take a picture until the drone actually takes it. I’m also noticing a delay when changing exposure settings. Any suggestions on how to correct these situations will be greatly appreciated.

First thing you might do is take some test pictures with the drone and controller fairly close to one another and in an area that would offer minimal chance of interference. If it works well there and then, the problem is most likely some sort of RFI.

Is it only the shutter button delay or do all control inputs and changes to settings have delays ?

There are also delays when changing shutter speed. There seems to be no effect on flying and distance doesn’t make any difference.
