Controller Issue

I have done that. What I get on my cell phone is a top-down look at where the drone is and I can choose satellite or hybrid displays. What I would like to see in my cell screen is what is being recorded by the camera.

Study the interface you describe and look for a dismissal button. . Also try tapping on the screen to replace the map with FPV.

First person view.

So you see what the drone camera sees.

This can be changed in the DJIGO4 settings.

Thanks for your help Paul.
Could you be a bit more explicit re the "DJIGO4 settings".
When I hit the 3 dots to open up "General Settings" I cannot find any setting that would allow me to see what the camera sees... so where specifically do I go in there or what icon do I press to get where I need to go?
Thanks in advance for any assistance on this issue.

Can you take a screen shot of what you are seeing? It sounds like you have the map zoomed in. The map view is the only I can think of that would give a top down view. What do you see after you hit the go fly button after DJIGO4 loads?

Thanks
Paul

You are correct...I see the "map" view, but the area where it says "Go Fly" reads "Disconnected". Yet I can fly the drone ok...just can't see what the camera sees. I do have some screenies of my Samsung Tablet connected to the controller and with the drone ready for take-off. I have more photos of the DJIGO4 app opened up, but each photo is approx. 4MB.

What I would try are:

Different cable
Different tablet.

See if you can borrow a different phone or tablet. See if they work.

It appears your controller is connected. But it’s in ATTI mode maybe due to where you are. No sats no signal strength.

The DJIGO4 app is totally disconnected. Showing no RC signal or HD signal (your video coming back)

Also make sure the drone is in RC mode. There is a port on one side where you can slide to WiFi or RC. You want it on RC to use the controller.

Last idea if all of these fail is reload DJIGO4, reset drone firmware with DJI Assistant software.
