Controller Tripod Mount V2

Finished fabricating a new tripod adapter for my M2Z controller/crystalsky/PolarPro Flightdeck rig. Attaches to the tripod's quick release plate. Can mount the whole rig onto a tripod or quickly release it and use the lanyard. (or just handheld)

Now that's a serious set up. Looks good. Did you machine it (mill)? Wish I had those skills.

No machining involved. Some Aluminum bar stock, hack saw, files, hand drill and some taps....and a lot of patience. Good thing I'm retired. Always enjoyed making things, but unfortunately have no artistic talents.

There is no shade, that's just a cover for the CrystalSky. The CrystalSky is bright enough that I can see it even in sunlight.

My only complaint with the setup is that the monitor blocks my view of the controller. Not a huge problem. All third party mounts for the CrystalSky are designed similarly and have the same issue. DJI's mount resolves this, but the design has no place to attach a tripod adapter.
