Corrupted video file transferring from new DJI hard drive to Surface Pro

2 recent videos. Successfully transferred files from sd card to DJI using Note 8 phone. Then connected to usb on surface pro. Copied the 2 files from dji hd to folder on surface. Then copied all files on surface pro back to Dji drive. All other file's transferred and still playable.

But one file wont. How do u try and recover it.

I have used Recuva (Recuva - Restore deleted files, even if you've emptied the Recycle bin! - Piriform). It is free and works well.

I had a SD card get corrupted before I could copy files and none of my recordings were accessible. Recuva's deep scan got them all back.

As another option - make a copy (an image file) of your flash card with USB Image Tool (it's free), then send it over to Restore.Media service. Sometimes they do recover files manually (in case Recuva doesn't help - or if it damages the files even further).

I just bought two Sandisk Extreme 100MB/sec cards and in the packaging was a key to some recovery software. Just a thought if the suggestions above don't work.
BTW, 64GB mSD card $42 normal price from MSY, and they were about $165 in Harvey Norman .. pays to shop around!!!
