Just a short clip of the cultural madness that descends on Mack, Colorado for one weekend every June. Mack is about 20 miles west of Grand Junction. I live nearby and drove just a few miles to capture this. Daytime temperatures are in the mid-90s, so I'd guess that most action occurs when the Sun is low in the sky or after it sets. Evening news coverage features a lot of beer bellies, big belt buckles, tattoos, and young ladies wearing what they consider to be country & western attire -- abbreviated tops, bandanas, cut-off jorts, and cowboy boots and hats. I lived for a few years in western North Dakota, where real working cowboys and cowgirls don't dress to impress. Country Jam attendees have it all wrong. 24mm, 1080p @ 60 fps.
