Crashed dji air 3s

You're right. The point was that the Air 3S wasn't launched that close to the where the incident occurred.

How close to the tree was the launch point?
We don't have the benefit of GPS location data to see how far the drone travelled or how fast.
Forward motion commenced at 1.4 seconds with rudder input which caused the drone to curve to the left.
At 6.2 seconds, the flight data indicates either a collision or a mystery failure.

The tumbling that began at 5.85 secs is orderly in the sense that rotation is about all 3 axes.

The data I'm looking at shows stable flight until things come unstuck at 6.2 seconds.

The horizontal speed and direction are maintained and the descent is smooth. It doesn't look like the Air 3S was hung up and thrashing about.

From 6.2 seconds the heading data as well as pitch and roll, is all over the place but horizontal speed and direction was maintained ???

I have shipped my drone off about an hour after I crashed it.or it crashed .
Sorry meta4 for not giving you enough information.
The tree was about 10m away. And I was walking falward. There was a break in the tree. Where the sun came in blinding me. I continued to walk falward to see the screen.this lines up with the drone crashing.
Sorry first ever post. So not v savvy on this
So sorry all. Not trying to cause a argument.. too. I have flone this path q a few times with drones as it is my waking path to the road.
Im sorry I didn't follow line of sight rule. But this was on our land. Would of on the road.
Also I had to get over a car and over up into the tree.
Please ask any questions.sorry trying to reply yesterday but had a party on..

If it helps I launched my drone in the drive. Our drive is long then like. A round about with and old pond was that cervals by the frond door and back to thee straight drive.. Then continue up the long bit and there's a car park that can have like 7/8 cars..
I took off on the round about that is about 10-15 m from were it crashed.

No apologies needed, @Flysomerset. This forum is a great place to discuss accidents and incidents, not only for you but for others who have had similar problems or want to avoid similar problems.

I think there are folks who would be interested in how you're getting the repairs done and whether the tariff mess has any effect on the schedule. DJI?

As for flying near trees, don't trust the obstacle avoidance system. Those DJI promo videos are very unrealistic and have led a lot of people into trouble.

Hello.yes can do. Basically I brought this drone crashed. About 3 weeks ago. Sent it to dji- i live in the uk. So. I think this could make a difference.dji replaced it for a new one for about £60.this to a turnaround on about 5 days including shipping.
They have reopened the old case as may of been faulty. I can update all v soon
I have sent the flight log in to then and explained everything.we have cctv but wasn't working.

But, we do have GPS velocity data. That's the xSpeed and ySpeed data that the GPS receiver obtains from the doppler shift. xSpeed is north speed and ySpeed is east speed. hSpeed combines xSpeed and ySpeed. The direction of flight can be obtained as arctan(xSpeed/ySpeed).

These are speeds not location data. However, relative location data can be obtained by integrating the xSpeed and ySpeed data. That's how I got the values cited above.

My apologies. My attempt at brevity seems to have backfired. I didn’t say or mean to imply that tumbling was normal flight.

Sorry. Just to make sure i get what you are saying.
Budwise. You think that a motor had population loss. That could of cause the drone to fall.

Does that come from gyro sensors?
Or if it's from GPS, how accurate is it when the data shows no satellites acquired?
How far does that show the drone flying from the launch point?

I still have trouble accepting that a drone flown the way this was, suffered a propulsion loss almost immediately before falling into the top of a tree that was a very small distance below it.

Hello all. I have just downloaded and paid for an app that has gone through all data I have had an error code.
Not enough force esc error.
This is showing that the drone dji not have enough power. On 79%.. is this a normal esc error. Then you can see the speeds getting faster as it was slowly coming down. Then wee fet this error. This error was about the end Of the fall potentially when hitting something. Still was dropping at 3mph..
I dont know. This was as well a a motor stalled and blocked error. So may of been hitting the tree
