Here's a question I haven't found an answer to yet. What are you guys using for Digital Asset Management (DAM)? In my photography days, I used tools like ACDSee, Aperture, and Lightroom to tag and organize my images. I'd create templates which could be applied during ingestion.
I'm looking to solve the same problem with video. For example, I'll be working on a large project in the coming months and I need a good way to tag things so I can search keywords to find any videos with a certain tag, or shot in a particular location. Or maybe a particular subject. I'd also want to rank video clips so I can easily separate the wheat from the chaff.
I'm looking for a local solution (Mac) rather than a Cloud-based offering.
