Why are they taking then down? Not usable any longer ger? Asking way for "New" construction? I was almost hoping to see it implode, BUT then again if that happened, you probably wouldn’t be able to fly there.

Why are they taking then down? Not usable any longer ger? Asking way for "New" construction? I was almost hoping to see it implode, BUT then again if that happened, you probably wouldn’t be able to fly there.

It was an office building that was never completed and had been in such a state for 20 years. A new investor bought the area and now new apartment buildings are being built.
This is material from last year, they were dismantling the building slowly to recycle the materials and use them to build new buildings.
Currently it looks like this:
