It is very hard to imagine a reason why such a place should be a no-drone zone.
True. They told me because it may disturb the wildlife. It is very hard to imagine a reason why such a place should be a no-drone zone.
but the ATVs they probably ride through there don't...?True. They told me because it may disturb the wildlife.
No ATVs drive through there. Just people hiking. I just try to follow the rules even if they don't make sense. They did tell me that I could call the park commission to get permission.but the ATVs they probably ride through there don't...?
i so very strongly disagree with the statement that my zero emissions flying camera disturbs wildlife more than the people that walk through, stomping natural grasses and sometimes littering. mindblowing.
I've tried calling the Park Superintendent for Canaveral National Seashore, but they still refused flight... Kinda not surprised. It's NASA territory. No ATVs drive through there. Just people hiking. The only critters who seem to not like drones are bees.I've tried calling the Park Superintendent for Canaveral National Seashore, but they still refused flight... Kinda not surprised. It's NASA territory.
I was making assumptions about the ATVs. The zero emissions is what gets me though. Literally the only thing it does is make noise, and if you fly too close then sure, you could injure an animal. Just be responsible.
From what I understand, they are thinking she's a queen... and trying to mate! The only critters who seem to not like drones are bees.![]()
