Make a list of all countries, then search the net for "countries without cellular network" and scratch these out.

Thank you for nothing !!!
I think he may have been saying it will work in all countries because all countries have cellular networks, do they not? That doesn't mean 100% coverage or reliable coverage though so if you're up the Amazon hundreds of miles from the nearest cell tower, for example, you probably can't expect it to work.

Perhaps a fairer question would be does anyone know of a country where it won't work?

This might be of interest to you: Countries by 4G LTE Penetration.

It depends.

I can't help with your initial question, but you may want to clarify how you're using it.

I have the 4G dongle in my Mavic 3 Enterprise controller so I can connect to a Rock Robotic's RTK network when I'm flying. However, I do not have one in the M3E itself to control the drone over 4G network.

As far as using it in the U.S. to control the actual drone via 4G, you'd need a waiver for that. I was literally emailing with the FAA Waiver Team (AFS-700) today about this very thing using 5G and Skydio X10 drones. This was specifically about remotely operating the drone with a VO onsite where you're flying it, literally from one side of the country to the other. In order to do that, or even fly BVLOS via 4G, 5G, or LTE, you do need a 107.31 waiver.

Right, that was a mistake since it doesn't work on all networks - it needs LTE. LTE is the data transfer standard which is a part of 4G cell network standard. So many places which still rely on 2.5G in unpopulated areas, or didn't moved from 3G yet, will not provide connectivity through that module.

That's really interesting and puts a hamper on the UK buyers.
