Following on from yesterdays flurry of activity, this update ‘fixes known issues’.

Takes about 8 minutes to install / update. Mine didnt install first time. ‘Battery communication issues’.

Turned drone off and then on again and installed firmware. Second time started at 40%. Voila!

Lots of drone auto on / offs during installation, especially towards the end.

Took drone out for a field test yesterday. All appears to be ok, no idea what the ‘known issues’ are. FW update appears to have taken ok, second attempt.

I hope they did something with the auto tracking
I dont like the way it is with 800
Its so nervous zooming in and out
My update went in one go
Do you need to update your battery too?

Cheers, will check tracking on next flight.

No need to update the battery / ies. First attempt 90% complete then suddenly got the ‘battery communication error’.

Powered down just the drone, re-started drone then re-started FW update via the RC. FW re-started at 40%.

Are they unused batteries ie. Never ever been put in the drone before powering on?

If so, that’s normal.
Used the batteries multiple cycles before. Had the same scenario when I purchased the drone, updated drone to latest firmware and had to update all batteries then as well. On every power on with a other battery there was a new firmware detected to be updated. Same with the new update this week. Have 4 batteries and had to 3 times more with the others. Much quicker update then initial big update for the drone. Just check firmware for update when new battery is inserted. But for sure need to update batteries. Not sure what it do to batteries or drone yet. Couldn't get nice weather yet to test.

Ok, I didn’t need to with the battery already in the drone at time of FW update but will check the others. Thanks 👍
