I know this has had some airtime but I was communicating with Aloft yesterday re visiting the US next month and they said DJI are “moving away from iOS with their SDKs”. I was asking if I could hook my MA2 up to the Aloft site for flight records and was told they don’t support my drone for this function. Shame, and realise my drone is ageing so obsolescence beckoning?

Part of this is most likely due to all the political action going on in the USA against DJI.

With Android they can carry the apps on their own website and bypass the PlayStore for distribution.

With iOS that is not possible unless the iPhone/iPad is jailbroken and very few people jailbreak their devices.

The government can make PlayStore and App Store NOT carry certain apps. Yes I got that information about the government being able to block apps from an Apple Support representative.
