DJI Assistant Upgrade Help

I tried for the first time upgrading the Mavic Pro using the Assistant App on my Mac.

Downloaded and installed the latest version. I attached my Mac to the Mavic controller via USB cable to the controller where the phone normally connects.

However, the mavic pro doesn't appear within the DJI Assistant app ... am I missing something so I can upgrade using the Assistant App versus the phone?

If you're trying to update the firmware on your Mavic, you should connect the USB cable between your Mavic and Mac -- like this:

Thanks ... I was doing it right ... but found out I had a bad cable that would charge, but wasn't passing data. I swapped out the cable, and the controller was recognized immediately. Thanks
