Is it true that DJI is not renewing DJI Care policies on anything in the US? My Mini 4 Pro Care expires in a couple of weeks and I received no email about extending it.

Yes it is true, DJI Care Refresh renewals are currently suspended in the US.

Yikes hard to believe it's all over. I heard they also laid off all the workers in the US...
I wouldn't be surprised but I do know if they have to start up again, it might take months to revamp the program and get back up to speed. I think we lost a year or two at least.

We also lost the cost we paid for a great service over the years.

Any link to when and where you heard they laid off all workers in the US, not that it would be a surprise…?
Doubt the truth of that one. I am getting a care replacement soon. Took a while to get the shipping label as they did not send it until they could provide repair/replacement, but if they were all laid off, I would not have mine coming soon. True though that they have suspended care issuance/renewals. Personally I think they may recude some staffing, but I think that the full shutdown will not happen until the government makes their final move. If DJI shuts it all down, then we are done. With DJI and the ease of use we have gotten used to.

Done, Done, no. My very large drone is older and minimal auto anything. Not dependent on any closed source parts and materials. As the DJI parts age out or fail, they can be easily replaced with non-DJI parts. Maybe not as low a cost, but not a game ender for thiis drone.

Agreed.
Let’s see if @bkushner chooses to provide the source of what he heard.
