DJI Data base updates- Install or ignore?

From time to time I get messages on the DJI Fly or Go4 apps asking me if I want to update the data base or ignore. So far I've just ignored them thinking that these updates are mostly adding more geofencing. So far I've found the geofencing mostly a nuisance so again, I've been hitting the ignore button.

Is there something I'm missing besides that where I should be accepting their updates? The last time I updated firmware (unrelated thing) on my Mini 2 it introduced some issues that had not previously existed, so I'm leary about any of their updates.

Updating might protect you from flying in a no fly or restricted zone which could cause a problem legally.

I doubt it as I always check before flying in new space. If there is an RZ or NFZ i’ll see it on one of the air maps. It’s a lot easier to get ATC authorization then to get unlocked by DJI.

I have never updated their database, Has not caused any issues so far. But I do use another app for mission planning purposes.
