DJI GEO SELF UNLOCK

I am in the field trying to self unlock a Geo no fly zone...(abandoned airfield) I get a message that say congrats you are unlocked but I am still not allowed to take off...unlocking license says valid...any thoughts

well what said valid last night no longer has a message...retrying unlock now

ok so even though it says flight controller in the instructions do they maybe want remote controller

Flight controller is going to be your remote controller. The stock RC or the SC.
Before unlocking anything, I would make sure your updated first... then try again. I’ve heard some funny stuff with the DJI geo. Sorry. Also, try the message live help!

OK so I went through again and did this still no license in the go4 app...how do i get to message live help?

Someone else here had a similar problem. Turned out the RC SN was not entered correctly.

Log into DJI and go through support. But yea, will have to be when open. As mentioned maybe wrong Sn

I remember that thread...ended up doing a custom unlock and that worked...maybe a typo in the field...I don't know but thanks for the advice...

Make sure you are using the "flight control number" not the remote serial number. For additional help, here is an article I wrote

Thanks I wish I had that yesterday...another crucial step is to log completely out of the DJI Go4 app and log back in...You will be very frustrated if you miss this step.

Thanks to all who replied and helped...eventually got it unlocked and flew the op in time to get home and cut the grass and then trick or treat started
