Should be, you will not get full utilization of all features, but the app will work.

Yup! fully understand that new feature like fixed wing etc is unavailable when on FW .400.
Just want to be sure if safe and compatible to use w/ .400 MP/RC FW before updating the G0 4.

It's supposed to always be backwards compatible.
