Just confirming for those interested:
Downgrading from 4.2.14 to 4.2.12 corrected my poor video feed issues as far as ground testing goes.
I am off to fly again shortly and will post a confirmation.

What’s a “silent update”? Is that an Android expression?

Silent means it updated twice with the same version. For me, there's a bug on the first release of the same version.

But I still experience rc N mp not connecting to each other. I use solve this problem by restarting and or unplugging the cable but I would not risk it. So for now I just use my mini4
