Hi guys,
I'm new here and received my Mavic Pro just the other day and not had a chance to fly it yet. Whilst all excited setting it up and updating the firmware I encountered the dreaded random disconnects within DJI Go 4 app ...which I had already read lots about on several forums.
I'm using an Elephone P9000 Android 6.1 which I know isn't on the approved list.
Whilst researching this disconnect issue there were some report of success using the full sized USB connector on the bottom of the RC. I tried this using the USB-C cable which came with the phone and I didn't have any disconnect issues
Whilst examining the supplied DJI angled USB-C cable I noticed poor pin alignment on the micro-USB (the end which fits into the side of the RC). Using a needle I carefully realigned the pins and tested the cable...result! No more disconnects
This might not be the same issue for everyone but it appears to be the root cause of my disconnects.
Hope this helps.
