Hi All, looking to link my M3T and M30T to my Meta Quest 3s Headset. Does anyone have tips on how to go about doing so? I wouldn't have an idea on where to start.
Find and download the APK: Get the .apk file for your drone's app (e.g., `DJI Fly`) that is compatible with Android.
Sideload the app: Use a tool like SideQuest to install the .apk file onto your Meta Quest headset.
Connect to the drone:
Turn on the DJI drone and its controller.
Use the Meta Quest's Wi-Fi to connect to the drone's Wi-Fi signal.
Open the DJI app within your headset to fly the drone. OR
Install a USB camera app: Sideload a USB camera app onto your Meta Quest (e.g., using APK Pure).
Enable permissions: Go to your headset's settings, navigate to Privacy & Safety, then Installed Apps, and ensure the USB camera app has all permissions enabled.
Connect the hardware:
Plug the USB-A end of a video capture card into the Meta Quest's USB port.
Connect an HDMI cable from the DJI controller's HDMI output to the capture card's HDMI input.
Power on in sequence:
Turn on the Meta Quest and open the USB camera app to confirm the video input.
Turn on the DJI controller. You should see the DJI boot-up screen in your headset.
Power on the drone. Once it acquires a GPS signal, you should be able to fly in VR.
