DJI Mavic pro Fixed-wing mode

I go to fixed-wing mode and after I start flying it tells me to click on C-1 which I do, sometimes multiple timesto get to Fixed-wing mode. I continue flying change nothing , and then it kicks me out of Fixed-wing mode. I have tried several times to get into this mode but wind up getting kicked back out. Any ideas ?

Would a uninstall /re-install of software be recommended to maybe help with this issue ?

Are you pulling the right stick towards you to slow it down? If so it will disengage fixed wing mode.

no I have the right stick all the way forward
