How do shoot the take off scene with alone?
ok. I Shooting a scene of take off drone with tracking the gimbal camera.
Use case of DJI Mavic2 x DJI Osmo3.

Great idea! I have an Osmo as well so it would be a good way to do a video of my M2P taking off and then editing the footage into the flight video. Will the Osmo track the drone horizontally as well as vertically?

I guess the concrete barrier in the final take off fortunately didn't have rebar in it....you could have potentially experienced compass issues.

I chose horizontal shot mode of Osmo, so compatibility to other video material.
Osmo could vertically and horizontally track to the drone.
May be vertical shot mode is too good for rising drone.
but, issue is image size in drone as distance.
It can track at only target is looks big.
It can't re-sight at lose sight once.

by the way, I use iPad mini on a Mavic controller.
On the other hand, I use ASUS android on a Osmo3.
Also android's software of DJI is no good...! (It is has bug)
Also in use Apple on DJI is good with gimbal product too.
As your said, Location of last shot scene was causing a little problem of magnetic for compas.
There seems to be no problem if leave quickly from near concrete wall.
I posted this video at same location below.
