Dji Mini 4 Pro waypoint mission altitude erratic

When i fly my constant (60 m) altitude waypoint mission, the drone keeps changing the altitude between the waypoints. It will go as high as 80 m, and as low as 20 m. This behavior does not seem normal, but maybe i am misunderstanding about waypoints mission?

What flight app are you using?

Litchi will 'terrain follow' which means the drone will keep a constant 60 metres above whatever ground level it is currently flying over.

Never used the native DJI waypoints option, but I'd ask whether the initial altitude set remains a constant regardless of terrain relief variations along the line of the flight.
