DJI Mini Pro Active Track following a vehicle

I bought a DJI Mini 4 Pro to follow my Jeep offroad. So far I've done nothing but lost it in the trees. I've found the preset altitude for Active Track and a vehicle puts the drone way too high, inline with the tree tops and at a horrible camera angle. Most of the time I drive for less than a few minutes before the drone losses sight of the Jeep and ends up hovering in the trees.

Does anyone know a way to keep the drone much closer to the ground on Activetrack while following a vehicle?

In reality, the Active Track feature is nowhere nearly as effective as the DJI promotional videos suggest. Same for Obstacle Avoidance. If you're able to get a few minutes of good tracking on a winding road in a wooded area, I'm impressed.

Are you trying to get the drone to fly below the treetops with trees near both sides of the road? You might post a short video clip to give an idea of what sort of terrain and tree cover you're working with?

If you want the drone to track very closely, it might be better to have the drone track a person in the Jeep rather than the Jeep itself.

My recommendation is if you want to get a video of your vehicle tracking very closely, it might be better to get a camera like the DJI Osmo 360 and stick it on the end of a long pole.
