Well, well, well. Promises, promises, promises.
DJI: “Pre-Order Yours Today”!!! Me: “I did”! Without a second of hesitation. Nov 1st, 2019 Friday afternoon.
YouTube is flooded with DJI Mavic Mini videos. It seems like everybody has one already! What’s the deal?
Do I need a million subscribers to get mine on time? Was this preferential treatment for those who have YouTube channels?
Who here was NOT going to post a YouTube video about their new Mavic MINI? Oh wait, maybe I know, people who are not on DJI’s payroll. People who might speak honestly about the product because they aren’t sponsored.
I was scheduled to receive my Mavic MINI over a week ago. The date has kept changing and changing. Now my vendor from Amazon has just given up. I received an email from the Seller, who did not mince words, DJI is the reason they haven’t shipped the product.
How slow is this process going you might ask. So slow, that I have all the accessories for the drone BUT STILL NO Mavic Mini. I have landing gear, propellers, and an extra battery for a drone they haven’t shipped yet.

Message from seller:
この度は納期遅れの為ご迷惑をおかけし誠に申し訳ございません。
また納期遅延メールを送信させていただいておりましたが、システムエラーで送信できていないことが本日判明いたしました。
誠に申し訳ございません。心よりお詫び申し上げます。
発送が遅れてしまった背景を詳細に説明させていただきます。
弊社はDJIに数百台という大量な数を発注しておりましてもちろんDJIに大きな発注全額分全額を既にお支払い済でございます。
当初DJIからはAmazonでご注文されたお客様全てへ発送できる台数分が納品されるはずでしたが、
実際に昨日弊社へ発送通知があったMavic mini コンボはわずかな台数でございました。
全てのお客様にお届けできる予定でしたが本来送られてくるはずの数百台ではなく
わずかな台数となり結果的にDJIに裏切られたという状況になっております。
弊社も被害者側となっており大変遺憾でございます。
そのため納品時期も遅れ、お客様に間近での遅延のご案内をするという形となってしまいました。心よりお詫び申し上げます。
もちろん弊社からDJIへ猛抗議中でございますが現時点では12月中旬または下旬以降の入荷予定でございます。
尚、Amazonの「お届け予定日」の表示でございますが、当店としましても日にちを変更をしたく存じますが
Amazonのシステム上、一度決まったスケジュールは変更できないようになっております。恐れ入りますがご理解いただきたく存じます。
ご希望でしたらキャンセルも承りますのでお知らせください。
ご連絡がない場合は入荷次第順次発送させていただきますのでもうしばらくお待ちくださいませ。

We have ordered a large number of hundreds of units from DJI, and of course we have already paid the full amount for DJI.
Originally, DJI was supposed to deliver the number of units that could be shipped to all customers who ordered on Amazon.
Actually, there were only a few Mavic mini combos that were notified to us yesterday.
It was scheduled to be delivered to all customers, but not the hundreds that should have been sent
We received only a small number of the order. As a result, we feel betrayed by DJI.
We are also a victim and we are very sorry.
Furthermore, the delivery time was delayed, and our customers were informed of the delay in the near future. I apologize from the bottom of my heart.
Of course we are protesting to DJI from our company, but at this time it is scheduled to be received from mid-December or later.
*If you get it by Christmas, you’ll be lucky.
In addition, although it is a display of Amazon's “scheduled delivery date”, we would like to change the date even if it is our shop.
On the Amazon system, once a schedule has been set, it cannot be changed. I'd like you to understand.

It looks like Christmas is going to have to wait. Can you imagine how hard it is for a father to tell his children that their present won’t be here in time?
I love DJI products and their drones, but somebody really dropped the ball on this one. Soon it will be so cold that you wouldn’t be able to go out and test your drone. So much for the 1 year warranty. Make it 9 months because I probably won’t be able to use it until April.
Very disappointed.
