Stumbled across the above video which appears to be a solution for a known problem. I ordered immediately 😄

I checked this, looks good.

That probably explains why my CrystalSky I used extensively on my M2Z via a plain old USB C to HDMI cable won't work on my Mini 4 Pro.

I would love to hear from anyone that uses this cable with the CrystalSky.

ps $30 if it works on the CrystalSky is a decent price.

The problem with this setup is that it's not a clean out. For live broadcast, you still have to use the RC Pro or similar. DJI isn't putting clean out display on the new RC controllers.

Well, if that’s the case I'd have to see the output.

If your Crystal sky has HDMI in this should work. ive tested similar USB C to HDMI adapters with various monitors and my rc2 works fine with them
Well, if that’s the case, this whole thing is bogus.

Why do you say that? he shows a cable that mirrors the screen of the RC2, its not his fault that DJI dont offer a clean screen output.

Yes, I to agree with you.

I dunno. @Vic Moss seems to feel it won't live display the RC2's screen to an HDMI device, a TV in their YT video. Maybe I'm missing something.

And what is the difference between a HDMI device and a TV/monitor.

It will live display on the RC2, you just won't get a "clean out". That means instead of just getting the picture from the drone, you'll also see all of the telemetry. So it's fine for some stuff, but if you're broadcasting, it won't work.

So all-in-all your happy with the results? May I ask if your using something like a 2000nit screen.

I'm using the built in screen on the controller. The RC Pro is better. And I'm not outputting it to my own screen. When I was doing that, it was being broadcast on the screens of a football stadium during the game.

So are you saying in essence it would output to a monitor or screen?

Yes. As long as your screen has an HDMI in slot, just plug the RC Pro into that.

Mine arrived today and works as advertised on my 65" LG OLED Thumbswayup
