DJI RC FCC hack, is for app installing on the DJI RC or just for increasing the range?

Hi guys im new here, i didnt find clear info on this topic, if anyone can help me it would be nice to know what to do

It's only for range increase.
There's no real option for installing apps on the RC...yet.

okey okey, thanks for the replay so if i want to use 3rd party apps an afordable option would be to buy the controller without screen and use my phone?

Yep thats the cheapest option. The RC Pro also allows 3rd party Apps.
There is a new RC out "RC2" i think. I have not heard anything about it yet. Maybe that has an option
