DJI RC Plus - a new flagship remote controller?

A new DJI remote controller just showed up in FCC listings. It comes with 7-inch high-brightness screen, and an array of customizable physical buttons. Not sure if it is compatible with Mavic 3 or not.

I just got a case to fit the RC Pro. Ha. If this pans out, it would be in response to Autel’s remote.

More likely this is the replacement for the Cendence Controller for the upcoming Inspire 3 and Matrice series.

I've read somewhere that it's for the new Agras T40 & T20P. Both new platform models and the FCC filing of new RC Plus is at same time as new filings for Agras models. It's also similar to the current Agras RC control.

May be why the screen shows the Ag field mapping.

That was my 1st assumption too... and hopeful. Then found the article on Agras models.

Yes is for the Agras models and they mention maybe will be compatible with the Matrice in the feature firmware.

It's a beast of a device. Huge and heavy, just like the Autel SC that requires a tray underneath and a full harness to support it properly!
RC-Pro is a much more practical size and very ergonomic. If you really need a larger display, you can always attach a 7” 2400 nit Feelgood monitor and mount it above the RC-Pro with a Lifthor mount, through the HDMI out. $300 altogether for the additional components, only when needed, without giving up the portability of the 5.5” screen the rest of the time.
