dji rc pro 2 with mini 5 pro

I have the mini5 pro paired with the dji rc 2. I'm considering getting the dji rc pro 2 and pairing the mini 5 pro with that. If I do so, will that have any effect on the pairing with the dji rc 2?

It will not have any effect on your rc2 but you will eventually need to bind your mini 5 pro with the rc pro 2.

No problem at all. Keep the RC2 around for an emergency backup. But once you start using the RC Pro 2, you'll never look back. It is *worlds* better than the RC2.
