Dji rc to dji fly connection

the dji fly app refuse to connect to dji rc , this is annoying because they supply it with the drone, i have no problem with the drone but the controller is not fit for the purpose, dont buy the mavic 3 pro if it has the dji rc controller

The dji app just wont connect to the dji rc controller, i have tried 4 cable, and all it does is charge the controller, i wont connect so i can use other devices to make the controlling easier, i have the latest version of the fly app and the latest update on the controller, it seems that the controller wont connect because it insists on charging the controller

Ah, yes the app is built into the DJI RC, it is not designed to be used with an external device. You need an RC-N1 to use a phone or tablet.

But the screen is so small and difficult to use, not the best controller , not a patch on the one for my mavic 2 pro. But the dji rc pro is , this does not make any sense at all

Yeah the DJI RC is just kind of “ok”. RC-N1s can be found fairly cheap on eBay, etc though.

It is to get people to buy the Pro controller. It will allow an external device. I think they just left the feature out in "cheaper" screened controllers garnering more sales for the pro. Your controller $300, PRO $900, That's why.

RC Pro is actually $1200. I own two. Pricey for sure!

The problem isn't with your controller.
The problem is what you are doing with it.
You can't use another screen device with the RC controller, so there's no need to use any cables.

Try using it the way it's intended and it will work just fine ... like it does for everyone else.
