Hi Folks.

I just managed to get me a shiny new Mavic Mini and want tomake sure I’m covered for any little smack ups it encounters during our getting acquainted period.

I was looking at theDJI Refresh and was wondering if anyone had any experience or could recommend that or another.

also,if anyone that has bought it could let me know the process. Can you just sign up online, pay your cash and boom, your covered? Or do you need to wait on a activation code arriving by post before you can link your drone to the cover? Support seems to think you need to use a voucher but that makes no sense whatsoever, so I’m a little disbelieving.

thanks everyone

Completely painless (other than the money). You will be offered the opportunity to purchase when you register/ activate the drone.
If you don’t w/in 48 hrs DJI will require flight logs/info to prove normal function... they will prescribe what they want.
There is other insurance available. I put Refresh and then Refresh Renew on all my drones. The one time I had to use it paid for the fees on all four drones plus some.

Do it when you activate. It's a very small amount of money relative to the cost of a new Mavic Mini, and the process for getting it after the 48 hour window is a fairly substantial pain in the *** (relative to just getting it now). I am not one to *ever* buy the warranty offers that are made when purchasing electronics online or at Best Buy, etc., but the Mavic Mini is just too expensive and TOO easy to crash (not due to any fault of the drone's, just due to the nature of flying!), so I didn't hesitate to get Refresh.

Thanks folks, that’s exactly what I needed to hear. Online instant cover is so common now I was surprised when they said I needed the paper activation. Code and couldn’t just do it all online. I’ll get it now and hopefully go fly it when the storms go
